The organizing committee of EPIT 2025 is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and safe environment, free from harassment in all interactions, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, ethnicity, age, or religion. This commitment applies to all participants of the school, who are expected to act with integrity and respect towards everyone attending, speaking at, or working at the EPIT venue. It applies to all interactions, regardless of affiliation or seniority. Our community values freedom of thought and expression, and all interactions during the school must take place in an environment that respects each individual.
Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated during EPIT 2025.
Harassment refers to any behavior aimed at excluding, intimidating, or creating discomfort. It includes, but is not limited to, offensive or degrading language, abusive photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, and the sharing of unwanted content targeting a specific individual (e.g., cyber-harassment, or sexually or violently explicit material).
Designated contact persons will be available throughout the week. Anyone who experiences, witnesses, or becomes aware of threatening or inappropriate behavior is encouraged to report the incident to the designated contacts. All reports will be handled confidentially. In the event that a public response is required, the identities of the individuals involved (both the person reporting and the targeted individual) will remain confidential, unless explicit consent is given. The EPIT 2025 organizing committee reserves the right to take appropriate action to maintain an inclusive and respectful environment.
